All in on the (K-Clubs)(10-Clubs)(7-Clubs) flop, Per Svensson's pocket aces were leading, but Noble Simpson's (A-Clubs)(K-Spades) had outs. Jean-Robert Bellande and Danny Wong were the clear aggressors at this party poker series to this point. That week's episodes, starting October 13, will feature Patrik Antonius, Dee Tiller, Howard Lederer, Doyle Brunson, Gabe Kaplan, and Eli Elezra.

Their names are quickly forgotten. Season IV of "PAD" promises to break the tradition established by the highly popular late-night series in its first three poker room party seasons, where it offered a revolving mix of partypoker's biggest names in six-handed freezeouts. For as many players that walk through the doors of the Amazon Room, about half as many leave before the day is done. Professional staples including Freddy Deeb, Chau Giang, Barry Greenstein, Ben Roberts and Billy Baxter were there. This was Danny Wong's second final-table appearance for this year's WSOP and his payday incrementally adds to his $1.8 million in career tournament cashes. Garner, who finished 25th in the Main Event last year, ended play as the Day 1A chip leader, getting a leg up for his second day. Shorr? Almost famous (for something other than a YouTube video of him jumping off a balcony and breaking his back).

Gavin Smith missed his only opportunity to cash in the preliminaries when his flopped bottom pair didn't improve against Primoz Adamic's top pair. No matter what happens to them in life, the fact that they won a bracelet is a major accomplishment. The latest edition of the highly popular tri-annual series, FTOPS IX, will run August 6-17, 2008. When another six fell on the turn, Daneshgar checked, Sitron bet 800,000 and Daneshgar moved all in.

In stud, Dollinger completed with (K-Clubs) in the door, and Tommy Hang raised with the (9-Clubs) showing. Sitron limped in from the button and Daneshgar raised it 400,000 more from the big partypoker blind. Excepting the final Sunday of the series, which is devoted to the Main Event, two other events get underway on each of WCOOP VII's first 16 starting days. Three-time WSOP bracelet winner Dewey Tomko has twice been the runner-up in this event, in 1982 (to Jack "Treetop" Straus) and in 2001 (to Carlos Mortensen).

Harrah's Entertainment has announced the card party schedule for the 2008 World Series of Partypoker Europe (WSOPE), to be held September 19th to October 2nd, 2008 in London, England. Prock finished in eighth place for $10,335. Hellmuth held strong to make the final table but finished third, while relative unknown James Schaaf claimed the jewelry and $256,412 winner's check. Daneshgar called the Cole raise and tabled A-J. Andrew Prock already had two cashes in this WSOP, including a final-table appearance in the last preliminary event. Not too bad for a 23-year-old.

Play slowed considerably when it went five-handed, taking almost as many hands to eliminate Jason Dollinger in fifth place ($54,804) as is did to take out everyone before him. Dollinger led out again on fourth street when he drew the (4-Clubs), and Hang called after catching the (7-Clubs). She finished third, and has gone on to cash in four more events.

A second week of cash-game action is scheduled for this fall on PAD. A flush hit on the river and Fishman was done for the day. Almost four weeks after it happened, people are still talking about Erick Lindgren's first bracelet, but people rarely bring up that he defeated Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, who was the runner-up in Event #4 $5,000 Mixed Limit.
